On my way to Tail Of The Dragon
For years, I’ve wanted to go touring on a motorcycle, but life—personal and professional—kept getting in the way. Finally, I decided to do what I can with what I have. My goal is simple: ride my favorite roads. So I’m hauling the bike closer to them and riding from there. Tomorrow I’ll reach the Tennessee–North Carolina border. On Friday, I’ll ride the Tail of the Dragon.

It never gets old.
No matter how many times you ride the same road, the same route, the same bends—it somehow feels new every single time.
The scenery changes. The light is different. Your thoughts are different – perhaps no thoughts at all. And somehow, the road always has something new to give you.
Maybe that’s the magic of motorcycling.

“Date of Birth? That’s What a Customer Asked Me—While Pointing at My Bike.”
While I was working at the pharmacy yesterday, a customer approached the counter. He nodded toward the front window and asked, “Is that your motorcycle parked outside?”
“Yes, it is,” I replied.
He chuckled. “Have you checked your date of birth lately?”
I smiled back. “Yeah, my wife actually asked me the same thing just the other day.”
He laughed and launched into a story about a friend of his who used to own a Norton Commando back in the day. Apparently, his friend low-sided it at 120 mph. I quietly listen and let him finish his story.
When he finished, I agreed that motorcycling definitely isn’t the safest activity. “But,” I added, “I’ve tried plenty of other hobbies, and nothing out there gives me an experience even remotely close to what motorcycling does.”

Sunday Morning Therapy: Fuel, Fresh Air, and a Motorcycle
Weekdays, waking up is a battle. But on a Sunday, I’m up early, no alarm needed. Just knowing a motorcycle is waiting in the garage is enough.

What Motorcycle Dhurandhar is Riding?
Let’s look at this image closely.
Now let’s look at the Triumph Boneville T120
Now Royal Enfield Interceptor 650
Dhurandhar’s bike looks nothing like Interceptor.
Let’s compare the bikes side by side.
They look exactly the same. Further more, they both have front dual disc brake. However, interceptor has a single disc brake. Therefore, I conclude that the bike Dhurandhar rides is a Triumph Bonneville T120. Leave your thoughts in the comments section.
