For years, I’ve wanted to go touring on a motorcycle, but life—personal and professional—kept getting in the way. Finally, I decided to do what I can with what I have. My goal is simple: ride my favorite roads. So I’m hauling the bike closer to them and riding from there. Tomorrow I’ll reach the Tennessee–North Carolina border. On Friday, I’ll ride the Tail of the Dragon.
